NASF provides forms on its websites where users can sign-up to receive e-mail newsletters and periodic notices about appropriate topics. NASF limits communications by e-mail to users who have opted in to receive e-mail communications, and each email sent contains an easy, automated way for you to cease receiving email from us.   • The official U.S. celebration of IYOF, “Celebrate Forests. Celebrate Life.” launched on March 1, 2011 in DC.
  • 115 events were held in 34 states and 1 territory.
  • Two states and one town made official IYOF proclamations.
  • First Annual National Walk in the Woods Day was held on May 21, 2011.
