Who can resist an invitation with Secretary of Agriculture Tom Vilsack and the Rolling Stones keyboardist Chuck Leavell? Last night, we also went to a celebration of the International Year of Forests at the Washington Plaza Hotel. Chuck, who’s a certified tree farmer, gave Tom a copy of his book, Growing a Better America.
Chuck joined The Second Amendments, a bipartisan band of Congressmen –Thad McCotter (R-MI), Kenny Hulshof (R-MO), Collin Peterson (D-MN), and Dave Weldon (R-FL) –to play You've Got to Change Your Evil Ways, and 'Stones classic Brown Sugar.
